Abstract: The text of Appeals and Warnings [in English, Hindi and Bengali] in the form of official notices and advertisements addressed to Railway workers in India to desist from participating in the Railway strike of 1974. That the railways are the lifeline of the country and that 'if you win, you'll loose'. Stike action is illegal as per defence of India rules and participation in a strike will draw penal action, loss of pay and jobs etc.
