dc.description.abstractMiss R. Geetha is one of the founder member of NCC-CL and one of the eminent trade’s unionists from Nirman Mazdoor Panchayat Sangma (Tamil Nadu). In her interview she basically talked about historical background of the campaign and how they were fought for The Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Act, 1982. She further tacked about how there was need felt to shift state level campaign at National Level and shared her insight experiences of Nov 1985 National Seminar of Construction Workers. Miss. Geetha also explains about advocacy efforts of the campaign for enactment of the Building and Other Construction Workers Act.en_US
