| Abstract: | Terms of the settlement include payment of a minimum bonus of 8.33% of actual salary received in 1996-97, 1997-98 and 15% of actual salary received in 1998-99 to employees. Also includes agreements on the revision of basic wage scales, DA increased from Rs. 1.90 per point to Rs. 1.94 per point, special allowance increased to Rs. 151 per month, HRA revised from Rs. 290 to Rs. 900 per month, conveyance allowance increased from Rs. 2 per day to Rs. 6 per day, washing allowance increased from Rs. 30 to Rs. 70 per month, workmen not covered by ESI eligible for claiming reimbursement of medical expenses to a maximum of Rs. 125, education allowance enhanced from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 per annum etc. |
