dc.description.abstractInterview of Anantha Subha Rao, leader, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation. Born in 1942, he got influenced by MC Narsimhan in his college days. Joined AITUC and he was asked to work in the road transport union, i.e. KSRTC. In 1977, he led the first strike of KSRTC. For a very long time, he fought for secret ballot in the union elections, and through Court intervention, it was finally allowed. From 1990s onwards, the KSRTC has been fighting against increasing privatisation of the company.en_US
