Description: | Worker demanded equal bonus payment after which he was verbally terminated without stating any reason. On CITU's advice worker approached the labour commissioner for conciliation but the management did not participate. The dispute was transferred to the Labour Court, Coimbatore and the award stated reinstatement with 25% compensation. The management has approached the High Court. |
