First regarding the nature and contents of the reception committee and sub committee of prominent citizens of Palghat district BKMU, Kisan, Youth with K.Govindan Kutty on Chairman, Reception Committee and State BKMU leader K.E. Ismail as Secretary Reception Committee. 1000 delegates expected to attend conference. Second, is a letter from Yallamanda Reddy to Com. P. Sankar putting forth certain historical relevant facts about Kerala BKMU’s struggle on 20th June 1988 when there was a dharna in front of all talukas and block offices demand payment of areas of old age persions’ welfare fund scheme, house sites, complete surplus land distribution. Yallamanda Reddy informs of ‘fact’ that in 1988 LDF govt. had increased old age pension for agricultural labour from Rs. 45/- to Rs. 60/-and other details about preparation for 7th National Conference of BKMU.
