dc.description.abstractInterview and profile of K Venkatraju, leader, Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation Workers’ Union. Born in an agriculturalist family, joined pre-university but left studies in the middle. He finally joined APRTC in 1965 and joined union in 1967. He was picked up by Com Khaparde, AITUC leader. By 1982, he came regional secretary of the union. Now he is on the verge of retirement, after working for the union in various capacities and posts.en_US
