| Abstract: | Interview of Anantha Tirtha, veteran freedom fighter and trade union leader, Bangalore. Born in a landlord family in 1934, he got influenced by Handhi initially. He organised workers in Enginnering, laundry and other sectors. From 1972 onwards, he became a full time trade unionist, and organised workers in copper, chromite, gold fields, bauxite, textile and chemicals. He has fought relentlessly against privatisation. |
