He further shared regional efforts for enactment of this Bill.

He basically shared how that there fight was difficult before involvement in the campaign how it has been stronger after involvement in the campaign. He shared state level efforts of Bandhkam Mazdoor Sangathan for enactment of the Building and Other Construction Workers Act. Also he talked about recent developments in implementation of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Condition of Service) Act 1996.

Shri T. S. Sankaran, Ex- Additional Secretary of Ministry for Labour and active member of NCC-CL. He has been actively involved in the campaign since 1985. In his interview he explained distinct nature of Construction nature Industry as compared to other Unorganised Sector. He also shared his experiences from 1985 National Seminar on Central Legislation for Construction Workers till enactment of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Condition of Service) Act 1996. He also tacked about importance of Tripartite mechanism for implementation of labour laws where he emphasis that worker will not merely beneficiary but active participants of whole process. Mr. Sankaran also tacked about how the all insights experiences National Campaign Committee for Construction Workers leads to formation of National Campaign Committee for Unorganised Sector Workers where campaign is demanding a Comprehensive Legislation for Unorganised Sector Workers.
