From Labour Officer Tirupur to A.R. Raghuraj - September 2016 on the court judgement from Coimbatore's Labour Court. Industrial dispute between A.R. Raghuraj and Meridian Apparels.
A dispute arose between a worker and management over oral termination and demanded reinstatement with compensation. Management accused the worker of drinking on duty and occupying illegally company's land. The court awarded reinstatement with 50 per cent salary for the termination period.
