Title: Interview of Parvati Krishnan
Abstract: Interview of Parvati Krishnan, veteran trade unionist. Born in an upper caste progressive and nationalist family, she went on to organise textile, plantation and other workers. As an AITUC leader, she was the first to raise the slogan of "Nationalise Textile Mills" in late 1950s, when most of the private mills were in crisis. She was also a member of the first Tripartite Committee on Plantations.
