Abstract: President of Garment and Allied Workers Union in a dispute against the Registrar of Trade Unions, Haryana appealed to the Labour Court to intervene and resolve the dispute.
Description: The plea demanded the intervention of the officer to ensure that the Registrar allows the registration of the trade union. The rejection on the part of the registrar was a violation of the trade union act and reduced the collective bargaining strength of the workers.
