dc.description.abstract The booklet is the full text that AITUC general secretary Dange, Shripad Amrit, in his role as leader of the communist group, delivered in parliament on 4 July 1967. The speech deals with important questions facing the country on Peking radio broadcasts, the Naxalbari problem, privy purses of princes, anti-working-class and pro-monopoly attitude of the government, centre-state relations in the non-congress ministries, and ‘law and order’ as enforced by the Home Ministry. The speech recevied widespread media attention. en_US
