In the introduction, AITUC general secretary S. A. Dange attacks the government report on the events leading up, during, and after the one-day Bombay General Strike against the closure of textile mills and in solidarity with the 110-strike at Premier Automobiles, which ran from 11 April to 28 July 1958. The report follows his introduction.
