Interview of Samar Chakravorty, Secretary, Bengal INTUC. Born in Bangladesh, he left home in 1947 for college and got involved in relief work for refugees. Came to the trade union movement under the influence of Aurobindo Bose. Since 1969, he looks after the engineering industries, and he has also been a member of the Board of Workers Education.
