Abstract:
Interview of Rajendra Prasad Yadav. He was from a family of freedom fighters and he came to Bokaro in 1969, to work as a supervisor in GRSEL, but soon joined the trade union movement there. Worked specially with unorganised workers, with no social security, job permanency. Also worked in BSP, HSCL, to ensure minimum wages for the workers. In 1983, he managed to get contract workers minimum wage of Rs 11.67/- in the Bokaro Steel Plant.
