dc.description.abstract Interview and profile of Panchanan Choudhury, Ex Director, Vizag Steel Plant. Born in Calcutta, influenced by INTUC leader Anand Gopal Mukherjee, who brought him into unionism. He feels that unless unions have collaborative approach, plant and its workers would reach nowhere. In 1993, when a massive strike was threatening the Vizag plant, Choudhury was especially brought in to salvage the situation. en_US
