Interview and profile of Padala Ramarao, member of AITUC General Council and Progressive Writers Association. Began union activities in 1941 and organised weavers. Also organised sweepers and ensured their wage hike in 1940s. He has also organised shop assistants, paper mill workers and others. He is specifically interested in unorganised workers.
