dc.description.abstract Interview and profile of P Anjaneyulu. Born in a poor Brahmin family, he was initially attracted to Congress Party. He was arrested for setting afire to railway station during Quit India Movement. At the age of 19, he came into contact with the CPI and joined the party in 1945. From 1953 onward, he started working with rickshaw pullers and led many agitations of rickshaw pullers. en_US
