dc.description.abstract |
Interview of Nutthi Narasaiah. Worked as a child miner, in the age of 12. Belonged to the Hyderabad state of Nizam and participated in the anti-Nizam struggle of 1946-47. He organised the Singareni Workers Union in the Singareni Collieries and also fought for Wage Board for the workers of the mines. He organised workers from UP, Gorakhpur, even Burma, and fought against the policy of not allowing families to come and live with the workers. |
