dc.description.abstract	Interview of Madanlal Didi, veteran union leader of AITUC. Born in Punjab, he was initially attracted to RSS politics, but later joined the communists. Began union work by organising safai karamcharis in Ludhiana, and went to jail because of them. Also organised Hosiery workers for better pay.	en_US
