Interview of K. Vishwanathan, veteran trade unionist. Began trade union work by organising laundry workers into a Union in Calcutta. He himself worked as cook, cleaner and hotel worker. Also participated in the tram workers strike of 1953. From 1959 onward, worked in Rajasthan, with PWD and other workers. |
