Profile of D.A. Rajimwale, leader of AITUC and CPI. Born in 1921, he was associated with RSS initially. But soon he joined the AIDR and joined the trade union movement in Ballarshah coal fields, Maharashtra. He also got associated with the textile, coal and railway workers. He actively participated in the railway strike of 1949 and remained underground during 1948-49. |
