Interview and profile of C. Balakrishna, AITUC Leader. Born in 1940, he started working with CPI since student days. He resumed studies only in 1960s and graduated in 1964. He also worked with Beedi workers, and went on to become state secretary of AITUC Karnataka from 1981 to 1989.
