dc.description.abstract Interview of Bal Krishna Gupta, leader of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Madhya Pradesh. Born in 1920, he began politics on the question of civil liberties in the Bhopal estate. Organised a movement for the merger of Bhopal estate with India in 1948, and also came into contact with Sardar Patel. In 1952, Bhopal was merged with India, and Gupta joined the Communist Party. en_US
