Interview and profile of B.C. Masen, General Secretary, Harbour and Pork Workers Union, Andhra Pradesh. Belongs to the family of a fishermen. Got radicalised in youth while associated with a literary circle. Was active in the student movement, got a post-graduation degree and joined as communication inspector in the port. Gradually joined TU activities and became General Secretary. Currently one of the top AITUC leaders of Andhra Pradesh. |
