Abstract:
Interview and profile of Venkat Rao, worker, Vizag Steel Plant Union of AITUC. Joined the steel plant when it was still in construction. Got involved with CPI as a youth, when his family got displaced by the plant and CPI was leading an agitation of the displaced. He joined ITI and joined the plant as technician. Remained associated with the Union in the plant.
