dc.description.abstract Interview of Abani Baral, leader, All India Federation of University and College Teacher's Organization, AIFUCTO, Bhuwaneshwar, Orissa. Belonged to a nationalist family and got associated with IPTA in 1955. Looked after the Communist Party newspaper in Orissa, Nawa Duniya. Also active in the Seema Andolan. Organised the teachers, especially in the 1969 strike, for pay scale, unification of education pattern and better work conditions. en_US
