Worker Y as a contractor hires a team of workers to carry out quality checking for TSK garments. The management on completion of the tasks delayed payment and refused to respond to his requests. With the help of CITU representative negotiations were carried out and the management paid the wages. Worker Y was denied the wages as the management argued he was the contractor even though he worked for 6 days. |
