Abstract:

The union representatives seeked ILO's intervention as the labour office delayed registering their union.

Description:

Union members explain unfair labour practices and targeting of union representatives by the management of Modelama. The labour office was informed about these practices and they delayed and denied registering the union. The union seeks ILO's intervention and negotiations with the Government of India and the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
