Abstract:
Letters by Hindustan Steel employees’ Union, Durgapur to AITUC, General Manager of Durgapur Steel Plant on issues pertaining to workers (retrenchment, the constitution of the wage board, reduction of construction allowance, arbitrary action by management, victimisation of Trade Union cadres, illegal termination of workers, etc.). Two calls for a Mass rally of all workers in the Iron and Steel Industry (on 21st May and 30 July).
