Correspondence related to the 19th Conference of the Transport, Port, and Fishery Federation and Note prepared by the Indian Delegation for the conference, demanding: reduction of working hours without a decrease in salary, improvement of working conditions; prolongation of vacation time; guarantee for work and training and professional requalification. A brief note on the British seamen's strike of 1966 demanding a 40-hour week with an increase in wage along with the strike's impact on Britain.
